Photoshopping on Summer

What's up?
Today my summer course started, and today's update is something I've been doing alot lately: Photoshopping. Now, photoshop is a tool that makes picture editing easy, and also can turn your pictures into something so boring into something alot more interesting. Photoshop has also caused controversy as we know, even a term is now used when using Photoshop: "Let's photoshop me" or "Photoshopping is alot of fun" are some examples.

I am not an artist- I repeat- I am NOT an artist. But the work I've done seems pretty good. Let's see why. :)




See the one picture on the top? It's a photoshopped picture. It's simple, and yet cute. You don't need to be an artist or need to know alot of Photoshop... You just need your creative little mind to work until your brains blow up and ...

Just kidding.
Take a look at the original picture on the right. I've got to admit I don't look very good, but with a little photoshop, creativity and green, an editing would do just fine for this picture to become outstandingly awesome. Tools I used:

• Selecting tool:
  1. I selected myself.
  2. I selected the background.
  
  
• Hue/Saturation:
  1. The background was changed into a green tone by using the Hue/Saturation.
  
  
• Brightness/Contrast:
  1. I used a lot of contrast on me.
  2. I added a little brightness to the picture.

See how simple that was? I didn't really had a hard time editing this picture. Here are some other examples:



A collage of a lot of mishh's- Using the same picture, in different tones. It's like a sort of pop-art of yourself, even trying different sizes or different pictures should so the trick. Use your imagination!



Mishh's Messy Picture- By using the selection tool randomly I gained this effect. Also adding a little grainess to the picture, gives it the effect of an old, rusty picture. It's a complete mess, but it kind of looks interesting.

For today, that will be it. On the next post, I might upload some more pictures, I'm not sure. It all depends on my mood.

First Post...

Hello there! The name is Michelle and I am here in order to "describe" my life. There is a picture of me, and let me tell you I enjoy Photography. I also enjoy editing pictures, playing guitar, shopping, partying, modeling and of course, I love music. Yet, I still have my quirks. For example: I model, but I'm not proffesional. On parties I can go crazy, (I don't drink, don't worry) just like when I go shopping. I'm practicing guitar, I'm not pro at it or anything. Also, my pictures or editing doesn't seem very proffesional at all times. Music is the only thing that makes me hold on, probably God is watching me or something... I wonder if I'm in trouble? Silly me- Anyway, I'm currently a student. Single... About to be in a relationship. Oh damn, this blog won't be exactly about me, but about several topics I like discussing:

• Music (Main topic):
  I love music.
  The thing is, I will be putting some of my favorite songs: Some can be inspiring, depressive, gay, (I mean, in the lovey-dovey way. Don't get me wrong!) mean, even songs to dance to. Oh, if you did not know, "The Everglow" is a song by Mae: my favorite band. I admire them so much- the reason I want to learn guitar is because of them. The Everglow is a song that describes love, saying how it feels to fall in it. Listen to it, you'll understand. ;)
  

• Photoshop editing:
  I'm practicing photoshop, yes man. I'll be showing the best pictures I've edited, and how. You're free to comment and show me new techniques, or show them off here!
  

• Clothes (Brands, styles... You get me.):
  Clothes = A dilemma for everyone, everyday. Let's discuss about brands, the similarities there are in a 10,000 jacket compared to a 15 dollar one. Trust me, it happens. You don't necessarily need good brands!
  

• The belief of love (Some say it's "non-existant") and the meaning of life:
  This is something I really like to talk about: "Love and life". Things I'll never understand... I should leave this topic for later. But trust me, it's cheesy.
  

• People and personalities:
  I don't mean famous people, but how you might identify yourself when you've found people like the one's I have.
